Pertex Shield Hybrid Knit Full Zip Jacket
A hybrid jacket designed for protection and warmth as a layering piece. Developed in collaboration with Pertex® Shield product technology and insulated with RENU recycled down finished with fluorocarbon free, water repellent HyperDRY technology. The sleeves and collar are knitted in a blend of extra fine merino wool with innovative 37.5® technology. Features include a front pocket and zip front.
Pertex® Shield fabrics provide lightweight waterproof protection whilst remaining highly breathable.
Insulated with Thermore® Ecodown®, a high performance lightweight insulation containing 100% recycled fibres from PET bottles. Every jacket insulated with Ecodown® allows recycling of up to 10 PET bottles.
The soft and luxurious 37.5® technology yarn is breathable and also benefits from the natural properties of merino wool. The technology helps keep your body at the ideal core temperature of 37.5°C and helps keep the microclimate next to your skin at the ideal relative humidity of 37.5%. When you’re hot, patented active particles embedded in the material remove sweat in the vapour stage before liquid sweat forms. When you’re cold, those same active particles, deriving from nature, trap your energy to help warm you up. This technology is a permanent technology that will last the lifetime of the garment since it´s not a chemical finish.
